Realising benefit and making change happen are core to the medmosaic ethos of programme management and our innovative and practical skills. We use the Managing Successful Programmes framework (MSP) to manage the change needed to achieve desired outcomes and benefits. The key to this is to ensure that the programme and underpinning projects fit with the wider organisational business drivers. medmosaic Programme Managers are highly experienced and professional, having operated at senior levels within the NHS, running programmes nationally and locally.
Central to our approach is a programme development loop that provides coordination within and between programmes and delivers breadth of context to the programme. It ensures that the projects and processes within the programme are focussed on the realisation of benefits and enables the client to maintain an understanding of emerging business change needs in order to develop the programme accordingly.
Working within the MSP framework, our consultants make use of a variety of best practice tools and techniques. This will include: stakeholder management, benefits management, risk and issue management, diagnostics and turnaround, benchmarking, leadership support and problem solving techniques. We work to understand the behaviours and roles of those directly and indirectly impacted, in order to involve them appropriately in the programme, through the use of tools such as Well-Formed Outcomes (from Neuro-Linguistic Programming, or NLP), the Thomas Killman conflict model and Action-Centred Leadership.

The medmosaic programme matrix is a multidimensional grid for plugging in all related Programmes and Projects, to coordinate activity across linked programmes of change.
This is critical to managing criss-crossing projects such as Payments by Results, NPfIT, Single Assessment, Improved Access, Agenda for Change, Chronic Disease Management.
